individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for

5. Use of Cookies
In addition to the data mentioned in Section 2,
information is stored on your computer on cookies within your browser software
when you visit our website. The use of cookies makes it easier for you to use
the website, as we recognize your computer the next time you visit, thus making
it easier for you to enter data again. Cookies are small text files with
configuration information that are stored on your hard disk associated with the
browser you use and through which certain information flows to the site (our
website) set by the cookie.
The cookies we use help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of
users on our website and to enable you to use the service in full. Cookies
cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make
services online more user-friendly and effective overall.
This website uses transient cookies and persistent
cookies.
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These
include session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which
different requests of your browser can be assigned to that session. This will
allow your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session
cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which
may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the
security settings of your browser.
The data processed by cookies is required for the aforementioned purposes in
order to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant
to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Most browsers are set to automatically accept
cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser
to notify you as soon as cookies are sent or have them deleted automatically.
In addition, you have the option of subsequently deleting the stored cookies
from your hard disk at any time.
Please note that if cookies are deleted, you must expect a limited display of
the site and limited user guidance. In principle, however, this limited use of
our services is also possible without cookies.
Standard periods for the deletion of data: The German legislator has enacted a variety of storage obligations and periods. After expiry of these periods, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data is not affected by this, it is deleted when the purposes mentioned under § 5 cease to apply.
6. Tracking Tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1 f DSGVO. The tracking measures used are intended to ensure that our website is designed to meet requirements and is continually optimised. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures in order to record the usage of our website statistically and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our products and services for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provisions.
The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found under the corresponding tracking tools.
a) Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided
by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA;
“Google”). We use this service within the framework of an order data processing
relationship.
Google Analytics also uses cookies, i.e. text files which are stored on your
computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website (see Section 5
above). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website
such as
– Browser type/version,
– The operating system used,
– Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
– Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
– Time of the server request,
are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Since our website uses the anonymization function
of Google Analytics, your IP address is shortened by Google within the European
Union or the European Economic Area before storage in the USA; only in
rare cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and
shortened there.
Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website,
to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide
us with further services relating to website and internet use. This information
may also be transferred to third parties where required by law or where such third
parties process the data on behalf of the company.
Google is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor
programme.
Under no circumstances will Google merge your IP address with other Google data
whilst being transmitted within the framework of Google Analytics. The IP
addresses are anonymized so that its tracing is not possible (IP masking).
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the
appropriate settings on your browser (see Section 5 of this declaration);
however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full
functionality of this website.
Furthermore, installing a browser add-on can also prevent the collection of
data generated by the cookie, related to your use of the website (including
your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google. Such add-ons
include:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future (the opt-out only works in the browser and only for this domain). An opt-out cookie is stored on your device. Deleting your cookies in this browser means deleting this setting. In that case, you must click this link again after deleting your cookies in order to re-apply the setting.
You can object to the collection and processing of
data within the framework of Google Analytics at any time with effect for the
future. You can use the plug-in offered by Google:
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. This shortens the processing of IP addresses so that direct tracing will not be possible.
b) Google AdWords (including AdWords Conversion and Dynamic Remarketing)
This website uses Google AdWords (Google AdWords Conversion and Google AdWords Dynamic Remarketing) services to create pseudonymous user profiles for advertising and market research purposes. Google AdWords sets a cookie (see Section 5) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. Likewise, data transmitted by your browser (such as information about the browser used or the search history, as well as data from cookies) are collected and processed by Google in the context of pseudonymous user profiles.
Google AdWords Conversion uses a tracking cookie
when a user clicks on a Google-inserted ad. These cookies expire after 30 days
and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages
of the AdWords customer’s website (France Ecotours) and the cookie has not yet
expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked on the
ad and has been redirected to this page. Each customer receives a different
cookie, which means that cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords customers’
websites.
The information collected by the cookie is used to generate conversion
statistics for AdWords customers. The result is the total number of users who
clicked on an ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag.
However, we do not receive any information with which a personal identification
of the users is possible. A connection between your personal data and your
usage data is therefore not possible.
Google’s Dynamic Remarketing technology allows users who have already visited
our website and are interested in the offer to be addressed again through
targeted advertising on the pages of the Google partner network. The insertion
of the advertisement takes place via the use of cookies. With the help of the
text files, the user behavior can be analyzed and subsequently used for
targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising when visiting
the website.
Further information on the subject of “privacy” in the context of Google AdWords
can be found under this link: https://www.google.de/policies/technologies/ads/.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking
process, you can also refuse the cookie settings required for such a purpose –
for example, using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic
setting of cookies. You can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting
your browser to block cookies from the following domain:
“googleadservices.com”. You can also opt out of the collection and processing
of data in Google AdWords by changing your Google ad settings at
https://www.google.com/settings/ads Alternatively, you can use the deactivation
page of the Network Advertising Initiative
(https://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp) to set an opt-out
cookie that prevents processing by Google AdWords.
Google’s privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found at:
https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
c) Google SiteSearch (Google AJAX Search API)
Our website uses Google AJAX Search API via
a JavaScript code. When using the search field on this website, data is passed
on to Google; this is governed by Google’s privacy policy
(https://www.google.com/intl/de_en/policies/privacy/).
To prevent the execution of the used JavaScript code, you can install a
JavaScript Blocker (e.g. https://www.noscript.net).
d) Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. This
service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View,
CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on
a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do
this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various
characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website
visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various
information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or
mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will
be forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website
visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.
Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has
a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling
and spam.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please
visit the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.
7. Social Media Plug-Ins
We use social plug-ins of the social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+ on our website on the basis of Art. 6, Par. 1, p. 1 lit. f DSGVO to make our company better known. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operations must be guaranteed by the respective provider. The integration of these plug-ins by us takes place in the way of the so-called “purpose click” method, in order to protect visitors of our website in the best possible way.
a) Facebook Social Plug-Ins
Our website incorporates social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The Facebook plug-ins are identified by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on blue tile /“Thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plug-In”. When you visit a website on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website. We therefore have no control over the scope and content of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore inform you accordingly to our level of knowledge (Facebook informs you about this at: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084).
By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the
information that you or your browser have called up upon opening a page that
corresponds to our website or online-related content to our company. If you are
logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account.
When you interact with the plug-ins, for example, by clicking the Like or Share
button or commenting, the relevant information is sent directly from your
browser to Facebook and stored there. The information is also published on
Facebook and made available for your Facebook friends to see.
If you are not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find
out your IP address and store it there.
Facebook may use this information for the purposes
of advertising, market research and the design of Facebook pages according to
your needs. To this end, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship
profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the
advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users
about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated
with the use of Facebook.
If you have a Facebook account and do not want Facebook to collect data
concerning you via our website and link it to your member accounts stored on
Facebook or assign it to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook
before visiting our site and delete the cookies (see Section 5 above).
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information at https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy of Facebook.
b) Instagram Plug-ins
Our website also uses so-called social plug-ins
(“plug-ins”) from Instagram, operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road,
Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”).
When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser
establishes a direct connection to Instagram’s servers. Instagram sends the
content of the plug-in directly to your browser and integrates it into the
page. This integration informs Instagram that your browser has called up the
corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile
or are not logged in to Instagram.
This information (including your IP address) is
transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and
stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately
associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you
interact with the plug-ins, for example by pressing the “Instagram” button,
this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored
there.
The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to
your contacts.
If you do not want Instagram to associate the information collected through our
website directly with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram
before visiting our website.
Please refer to Instagram’s Privacy Policy
(https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388) for more information.
c) Twitter Plug-Ins
Our website includes social plug-ins (“plug-ins”)
of Twitter’s social network, which is operated by Twitter Inc. based in 795
Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Twitter”). You
can recognize the Twitter plug-in by the bird symbol and the words “Tweet”. In
the overview:
https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons.
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plug-in, your
browser establishes a direct connection to the Twitter servers. Twitter
receives notification when you visit our website with your IP address. If you
are logged in to Twitter at this time by clicking/using one of the plug-ins
(“Tweet Button”), Twitter can trace the access to your account. If you interact
with the plug-ins, for example by pressing a “tweet” button, the corresponding
information is transmitted directly from your browser to Twitter and stored
there. If you are not a member of Twitter or have logged out of Twitter before
visiting our website, Twitter may still find out and store your IP address. We
would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we are not aware of
the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Twitter.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Twitter as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the Twitter data protection policy at: https://twitter.com/privacy
The plug-in provider stores your data in the form of user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and / or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact the plug-in provider to exercise this right.
If you have a Twitter account and do not want Twitter to collect data about you via our website and link it to your data stored on Twitter, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website and delete cookies. You will find more information about cookies within this data protection declaration.
8. Subscriptions for Our Newsletter
Normandy Gite Services uses its newsletter to inform its customers and business partners about the company’s offers at regular intervals and gives users the opportunity to subscribe to it. If you register for our newsletter with the input mask, your personal data (name, address, email address), which you provide when registering for the newsletter, will be transmitted to the person responsible for processing and stored. The newsletter of our company can only be received by the person concerned if (1) the person concerned has a valid e-mail address and (2) the person concerned registers for the newsletter delivery.
For legal reasons, a confirmation email in the
double opt-in procedure is sent to the first-entered email address by the
person concerned for sending the newsletter. This confirmation email serves to
check whether the owner of the email address has authorised the receipt of the
newsletter as the person concerned.
Normandy Gite Services may request the disclosure to a processor, such as a
lettershop, who also uses personal data attributable to the controller
exclusively for internal use. Your data will not be passed on to unauthorized
third parties. When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP
address of the computer system used by the person concerned at the time of
registration assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the
date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in
order to be able to trace the (possible) misuse of the email address of a data
subject at a later point in time and therefore serves as legal protection for
the data controller.
The legal basis for data processing after user registration for the newsletter is stated under Art. 6, Para. 1, lit. f DSGVO. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. The user’s email address will therefore be stored for as long as the subscription remains active.
The personal data collected when registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively for sending our newsletter. Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter can be informed via email if necessary, for the operation of the newsletter service or a related registration, as could be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter content or changes to the technical conditions.
Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled by the person concerned at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data, which the data subject has given us for the newsletter dispatch, can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking your consent, you will find a corresponding link in every newsletter. It is also possible at any time to unsubscribe directly from the newsletter delivery on the website of the controller or to inform the controller in any other way. By sending a message to Normandy Gite Services, you can unsubscribe from the use or processing of your data for purposes of advertising, market or opinion research at any time free of charge.
9. Contacting Us via Our Chat
If you contact us via the chat on the website, this is done via the FaceBook Messenger software. FaceBook uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to allow for a personal conversation in the form of a real-time chat on the website with you. FaceBook expressly points out that the website operator is responsible for whether personal data is taken up with the FaceBook Messenger programme or this function is omitted.
No cookies or your IP address are stored. Only the chat history is saved. The data contained therein is not used to personally identify the visitor of this website or to use it for other purposes, in particular for advertising.
